Abstract

Proposes to salvage harvest merchantable trees that were felled during fire suppression operations near existing roads in the Hash Rock Salvage area. Trees proposed for harvest are between 15 and 35 inches dbh, and the approximate volume is 150-200 thousand board feet.

21 pp. This Environmental Assessment (EA) describes an analysis of salvage harvest of downed trees along certain roads in the Hash Rock Fire Area. The Hash Rock Fire occurred in the Mill Creek and Marks Creek Watersheds, Prineville and Big Summit Ranger Districts, Ochoco National Forest. Captured May 29, 2007.
